On this day, the Germanic farmstead with its stable house, storehouse and weaving house in the museum garden is brought to life. The children learn how people used to live here. Together we try out making a fire, grinding flour with millstones and baking bread and, with a little skill, weaving a beautiful braid with a weaving comb. On the farm, children can watch and participate in a demonstration of flax processing. The work processes and equipment from the plant to the clothing are shown. Of course, the freshly baked bread is tasted at the end.
