Since the 19th century, Judaism in Germany has been changing:
The struggle for equality for Jewish men and women raised questions about tradition, assimilation, Jewish scholarship, and the role of women in Judaism, while new Jewish immigrants from Eastern and Central Europe brought their own religious practices with them. On this walking tour, we’ll visit some of Berlin’s most important Jewish religious institutions from before the Nazi dictatorship.
