An engaging conversation about the issues of the day, broadcast throughout Germany, held in the new old center of Berlin, in the Humboldt Forum.

Whenever health is the topic on television, he is often in front of the camera: Eckart von Hirschhausen, doctor, comedian and presenter.

He recently explored Alzheimer’s disease in the film "Das große Vergessen" (The Great Forgetfulness), whilst his books "Die Leber wächst mit ihren Aufgaben" (The Liver Grows with Its Tasks) and "Glück kommt selten allein" (Happiness Rarely Comes Alone) made him the most successful non-fiction author in 2008 and 2009. The volumes “Wohin geht die Liebe, wenn sie durch den Magen durch ist” and “Wunder wirken Wunder” were also bestsellers.

Eckart von Hirschhausen is particularly committed to climate protection and sustainability. In the programme, we ask him why he sees climate change as the greatest health threat of the 21st century, and how it came about that the Russian Tsar conferred a title of nobility on his ancestors.
