The tour is for people who are learning German. The tour guide talks about King Frederick II and his successors. Frederick II was more tolerant regarding religion than other rulers of his time.
The tour guide shows visitors the grand banquet halls and the living quarters of the kings and queens. She recounts stories of love and war over the past 300 years.

The course instructor also teaches German as a second language at the adult education center and has been working at the palaces of the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation for over ten years.
