The War Within

On stage, two people who have known each other for thirty years meet: a man in whom the memories of the war still linger, and his partner, the choreographer.

 

Together, they try to create space for the feelings and memories that exist within him and her. An attempt to express themselves, to process, to heal, to feel and to understand, to resist external and internal conflicts, and perhaps in this way to find some measure of peace.

 

Playful and sad, tender and sincere – the duet unfolds through movement, touch, sound and silence, tracing the contours of a trauma that has become deeply ingrained in a relationship.
