“Can you do love?” What happens if we understand love not only as a feeling, but as a verb — as something we choose, something we consciously do? Not in a “free love,” rose-colored-glasses kind of way, and not only in the romantic sense, but as a way of being, a way of seeing. Maybe even as a political act.
As Bell Hooks writes “love is an active force that brings us into communion with the world.” What would it mean to carry love like that—intentionally, daily? And can we bring this into our artistic Processes? How can we actually meet each other - with open eyes, with care? How do we create spaces not only of agreement, but of connection beyond agreement?
It is easier said than done. Love is loaded—with associations, with desire, with memories of pain and loss, with need. It is entangled with the ecstasy of falling in love and the ache that follows.
In The love project nr. 1 we propose a way of walking, of being, with love. We explore Love as something mystical, something we long for. A force that pulls us into the most absurd spirals, into the most beautiful transformations. Love as a power, a way of life. As something deeply human. As a counter to fear. As a quiet revolution.
In our current climate, where division and fear often dominate, we seek to portray love as a powerful counterforce—one that invites connection, collaboration, and understanding.
The Love project nr. 1 is an invitation to embrace love as a choice, a verb to be acted upon.
