Swan Lake

Ballet with orchestra 2026

"Swan Lake" - that is a promise. It is by far the most important ballet. Accompanied by an excellent live orchestra, it is now coming to Adminralspalast.

Whether in a grand ballroom or the great outdoors: the opulent backdrops, with their vibrant 3D effects, transport you to a foreign yet fascinating world. The stage dream of “Swan Lake” seems almost real here.

Added to this is the timeless magic of music. When composer Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky completed the ballet music in 1877, he had no idea that his melodies would soon become some of the most beloved works in the world. And the original choreography, created in 1895 by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, remains the gold standard to this day.

Our version stays true to the fairy-tale original. It tells the story of the great love between the noble Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette, who has been transformed into a swan. But the sorcerer Rothbart, with all his cunning, and his not-unattractive daughter stand between them. As a battle between good and evil, as a magnificent ballet with a festive atmosphere, as a “ballet blanc” featuring a graceful ensemble of dancers in swan tutus, and not least as a breathtaking love story that remains gripping until the orchestra’s final triumph, “Swan Lake” offers many opportunities to fall in love with classical ballet all over again.

Virtuosity and stylistic purity are the hallmarks of this production. People of all ages will find joy here. For this “Swan Lake” is breathtakingly beautiful!
