Platform 14

Platform 14 is an annual international dance festival that challenges traditional boundaries of genre and form.

Selected dancers and choreographers present their contemporary, urban and experimental dance pieces on an equal footing.

This year’s edition brings together works that navigate the space between intimacy and community, exploring themes such as identity, memory, perception and the shifting dynamics of our contemporary world. From poetic reflections on current affairs and social structures to physical explorations of togetherness, transformation and resistance, the program unfolds as a multi-layered dialogue between diverse experiences.

Over three evenings, spaces for encounters will be created, where vulnerability, humor, dialogue, curiosity and critical reflection meet artistic expression.

This year, Platform 14 opens with the Alumni Night: following an internal selection process, three groups from last year’s open call return to present new and longer pieces.
