Eleven dancers, a powerful choreography: “Piece of Changes” makes collective powerlessness physically palpable – and counters it with resistance, solidarity and the power of change.“Piece of Changes”, the new work by choreographer and dancer Isabelle Schad, is a piece about transformation and, at the same time, a search for change. In an age of multiple crises, this new creation counters the current sense of collective powerlessness with physically tangible forms of resistance, permeability and connectedness. In a powerful choreography, a group of eleven dancers, together with the percussionist and composer Anders Vestergaard, explore their physicality and seek ways to make their social stance visible and tangible through physical exertion, rhythmic dynamics and interpersonal resonance.
