Groove Lab: Pipe Edition is an exploration with metal pipes. The performer engages with the agency he has over the pipes, as well as the agency the pipes have over him. The body looks for a structure, for something to hold itself with — while that very structure is itself rearranging.
Figures and images blur, mutating in and out of each other. What is being held here? Who is holding whom? In these frictions, temperature fluctuates and grooves are summoned.

FRAMES FRAGMENTS FREQUENCIES, an experimental short film project in eight chapters, is a reflection on temporality and movement, masquerade and escapism, light and dark, abstraction and poetic interrogation of reality. Anton Gerzina

Anton Gerzina is a dancer or a musician. His dance and performance background is rooted in hip hop. He studied jazz piano and worked as a composer and performer for National Theatre Priština and Bitef Theatre in Serbia. He holds a BA degree in Dance Context & Choreography from HZT Berlin and has been a Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes scholarship holder since 2022.

Artist Mariola Groener and dancer Günther Wilhelm have combined their names and disciplines to form the label WILHELM GROENER since 2001. For the duo, their alter ego is a third space in which their multi-layered work emerges in constant expansion, friction, and transformation. More info on their Homepage.
