The event will take place at the PAVILLON AM MILCHHOF venue.
Groove Lab: Pipe Edition is an exploration with metal pipes. The performer engages with the agency he has over the pipes, as well as the agency the pipes have over him. The body looks for a structure, for something to hold itself with — while that very structure is itself rearranging.
Figures and images blur, mutating in and out of each other. What is being held here? Who is holding whom? In these frictions, temperature fluctuates and grooves are summoned.
Dance & sound: Anton Gerzina
FRAMES FRAGMENTS FREQUENCIES
An experimental dance film series By WILHELM GROENER
FRAMES FRAGMENTS FREQUENCIES, an experimental short film project in eight chapters, is a reflection on temporality and movement, masquerade and escapism, light and dark, abstraction and poetic interrogation of reality. A cinematic phantasmagoria somewhere between hyperactivity and somnambulism. A selection of chapters is shown at Unter dem Pflaster. The complete film can be watched on their Homepage.

„WILHELM GROENER is a Berlin-based artist duo. Günther Wilhelm and Mariola Groener. The duo has just created a cinematic monument for themselves in truly surreal „Frames, Fragments, Frequencies.“ From dancing clouds of fog to dancing models to dancing garments from which dancing bodies liberate themselves, their series of eight video clips seems like a trip into the purely fantastic, almost inhuman … “
