Should we celebrate in the face of the absurdity and the alarming realities of recent global events? Should we celebrate while people are dying from war, hunger, and violence? It is easy to say one looks to the future with confidence. But what is this future? Is it not what we create today and experience together? Is it not more about what we build than what we destroy?
Yes — every day is a reason to celebrate, despite everything. With great anticipation, we invite you, our loyal audience, colleagues, and friends, to the opening of our festival. We welcome you with a glass of champagne to share the evening with us and celebrate together: a special night with numerous guests and speeches.
This will be followed by former and current dancers of cie. toula limnaios appearing together on our stage. They have accompanied us on this artistic journey and now share time and experience in an evening full of surprises. A kaleidoscope of portraits that reveals both our connections and our differences, and moves us to dance and celebrate together.
