50 percent of all refugees worldwide are women! The performance is based on real voices of female refugees. Over the course of eight months in 2018, three actresses from the company visited them at their accommodations. They gave their consent to the dramatization of their stories. This forms a framework inspired by Beckett’s text. Ulrike Düregger, the artistic director, has developed an original text that brings these female perspectives to the forefront, thereby making them visible. In 2026, 10 years after the “summer of flight,” a stock-taking takes place.  What happens when life is supposed to go on—but no one says “Go”? What if a language never belongs to you? These are questions explored in this production—a dense, physical performance that is gender-sensitive, featuring the performers Mira Sanjana Sharma, Andrea Magogi Förster, and Ulrike Düregger. Between origin and future, instances of violence along women’s flight routes become palpable.
