cycles is an interdisciplinary solo performance that explores inner processes of
transformation and non-linear cycles of personal growth.
through movement, dance, improvisation and elements of martial arts, a physical language unfolds in which strength and sensuality coexist and inner processes get visible as bodily action.
between longing, intimacy and loneliness, between connection and separation, an intimate journey through ambivalences and contradictions emerges.
although physically alone on stage, the figure appears to encounter an other — partner or opponent — moving through transitional spaces in between the old which is already dissolving and the new which has not yet taken full shape.
