20 Jahre Radialsystem: In C - special performance 1 – Sieben Tänzer*innen in bunten Klamotten in Bewegung auf einer Bühne vor gelben Hintergrund.

Im September ist die erfolgreiche Choreografie „In C“ von Sasha Waltz & Guests erneut im Radialsystem zu Gast. Dazu interpretieren Acid Pauli und weitere musikalische Gäste die gleichnamige Komposition von Terry Riley live. Die Vorstellung findet im Rahmen von „20 Jahre Radialsystem“ statt.

„In C“ von Sasha Waltz ist eine farbenfrohe Auseinandersetzung mit der Welt der Minimal Music, basierend auf Terry Rileys gleichnamiger, bahnbrechender Komposition von 1964. Das spielerische System besteht aus 53 choreografischen Figuren für eine strukturierte Improvisation mit klaren Regeln und Gesetzen. Innerhalb dieses Regelwerks haben die Tänzer*innen kreative Freiheit, die jedoch immer in Bezug zum Ensemble stehen muss – die persönliche Freiheit endet dort, wo die Gruppe verletzt wird. Die Rollen von Führen und Folgen sind nicht vorgegeben, alle Tänzer*innen können jederzeit die Rolle wechseln.

Mit „In C“ begann die Tanzcompagnie Sasha Waltz & Guests 2021 einen neuartigen, experimentellen und sich konstant entwickelnden künstlerischen Prozess, aus dem bis heute immer wieder neue Projekte und Formate sowohl mit professionellen Tänzer*innen wie auch mit Laien aller Altersgruppen hervorgehen.
