The British a cappella ensemble Voces8 presents a contemplative program in the Chamber Music Hall of the Berlin Philharmonie—as “Winter Tales” transports you to a festive world of sound filled with magic and Christmas spirit. Works ranging from the Renaissance to the present day—including compositions by Reena Esmail, Kerensa Briggs, and Philip Stopford—are combined with traditional songs in artful arrangements.

Voces8, nominated for a Grammy in 2023, ranks among the world’s leading ensembles. For their impressive recording “Nightfall,” Voces8 was also nominated for the OPUS-Klassik award in the category “Choral Recording of the Year.”
