Villapalooza - the Mini Songwriter Festival

Villapalooza is back for the sixth time, bringing a sixth round of singer-songwriter sounds of all kinds to the enchanting garden of Villa Kuriosum.

On stage: six musicians from Berlin and Leipzig, with roots in Croatia, Estonia, or the Ore Mountains: Viktor’s Joy, Lis, Mia Ramer, Jani Dingsda, Florian Illing, and Laurentius the Profit.

Look forward to: Lis’s unique songs and expressive voice; Viktor’s Joy’s storytelling and hypnotic nylon-string picking; the scratchy, laconic lo-fi hits of Jani Dingsda; Florian Illing’s electro fever dream teetering on the edge of the abyss; the strangely beautiful folk trip of Laurentius the Profit; and the heavenly harp odes of Mia Ramer - perfect for a summer day in the fairy-tale garden above the train tracks.

Come on by - to listen spellbound, hang out casually, and take a joyful stroll along labyrinthine paths!

Good to know:

- Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. Feel free to bring your own picnic blanket!- Children are welcome, but unfortunately dogs are not (this is a cat zone!).- Don’t forget sunscreen and insect repellent!- In case of rain: The stage is covered. If necessary, we’ll move inside the villa.
