Soweto Gospel Choir - Joy! (Zulu: Injabulo)

The internationally acclaimed Soweto Gospel Choir from South Africa will return to Europe in 2026 with its new tour production: Joy!

A Musical Celebration of Harmony and Unshakable Hope

Known worldwide for its breathtaking vocal power, joy-filled performances, and profound emotional expression, the choir captivates its audience with performances that transcend language, culture, and borders. The new program marks a radiant chapter in the ensemble’s extraordinary history. The show brings together traditional African gospel, spirituals, freedom songs, and contemporary classics into a concert experience that unites people.

Rooted in the rich musical traditions of South Africa, *Joy!* (Injabulo) is a joyful celebration of unity, acceptance, balance, and the enduring power of song. A song that has the power to lift hearts and bring people together—especially in uncertain, frightening times.

As multiple Grammy Award winners, the Soweto Gospel Choir has performed on the world’s most prestigious stages and collaborated with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Peter Gabriel, and U2. Their concerts are known not only for their musical excellence but also for their warmth, generosity, and infectious joy.

The European tour promises a rousing evening of music that speaks directly to the hearts of the audience—a reminder of the humanity that unites us and of the unshakable hope that arises when voices come together.
