Simon Shaheen returns to the Pierre Boulez Saal following his celebrated concerts in the past two seasons. The Palestinian-American oud and violin virtuoso is among today’s most important performers of traditional Arab music, which he combines with elements of Western classical music and jazz. Together with his ensemble, he will present a program of original compositions and improvisation.
