Music in the Great Outdoors – Shmaltz Summer Concert

Five musicians sing in five languages, play a wide variety of instruments, and celebrate musical diversity—get ready for our Shmaltz summer concert in the great outdoors!

Cosmo W. Pepper (bass and more), Levante I.N. Patsh (bass and more), Anke Lucks (trombone), Paula Sell (accordion), and Dr. Itzbar Dschucka (banjo and tenor horn) will take you on a musical journey to a parallel universe—Malwonia. From klezmer to tango, this Berlin-based band blends diverse influences, and their energy and spirit invite the whole family to dance.

Before the show, you’re welcome to join the free guided tour of the current special exhibition “For Freedom and the Republic!” Don’t miss it. Immerse yourself in the Reichsbanner’s struggle for democracy during the Weimar Republic.
