With their new concert program, “For a Better World,” Giora Feidman and Iranian composer Majid Montazer are opening another significant chapter in their artistic collaboration.

Following the successful programs “Friendship” and “Revolution of Love,” they continue to spread their musical message: a passionate plea for peace, humanity, and hope. More than 250,000 concertgoers have experienced the programs to date—impressive proof of the emotional power and international appeal of this extraordinary vision. “He writes. I play. That is our mission,” Giora Feidman sums it up: Montazer’s compositions form the foundation of the concert series. They combine classical structures with Persian timbres, spiritual depth, and cultural openness—a cosmos of sound tailor-made for his clarinet. Together, they bring this music to the world—as an emotional statement for understanding and reconciliation. Whether in renowned concert halls, small cultural venues, or the magnificent Berlin Cathedral—“For a Better World” is a musical statement by two artists whose shared vision extends far beyond the written notes. Montazer’s scores come to life through Feidman’s clarinet—direct, emotional, and compelling.

Mit der Veranstaltungsreihe Meisterwerke im Berliner Dom hat sich der Dom als feste Größe im Berliner Kulturkalender etabliert. Bereits in der dritten Saison versammelt die Reihe herausragende Persönlichkeiten mit außergewöhnlichen Produktionen aus Musik, Schauspiel, Literatur und Tanz. Namen wie Ben Becker, Katharina Thalbach, Martina Gedeck, Corinna Harfouch, Peter Lohmeyer, Max Mutzke, Annett Louisan, Ute Lemper oder Ulrich Matthes stehen beispielhaft für den hohen künstlerischen Anspruch und die besondere Handschrift von Meisterwerke.

Kaum ein Ort verbindet Geschichte, Architektur und Kultur so eindrucksvoll wie der Berliner Dom. Im Herzen der Museumsinsel entstehen hier Abende, deren Wirkung weit über das eigentliche Bühnengeschehen hinausreicht. Die monumentale Architektur, die einzigartige Atmosphäre und die außergewöhnliche Akustik – geprägt von der berühmten Sauer-Orgel – verleihen jeder Produktion ihren unverwechselbaren Charakter. Gemeinsam mit den Opernhäusern, der Philharmonie und dem Konzerthaus zählt der Berliner Dom zu den bedeutendsten Kulturorten der Hauptstadt.
