To mark the anniversary of the city partnership between Berlin and Warsaw, the German-Polish Institute invites you to a special German-Polish concert program featuring works by Chopin and Bach.
The recital will be performed by pianist Cédric Pescia. He studied in Lausanne, Berlin, and at the International Piano Foundation on Lake Como. He gained international recognition after winning the prestigious “Gina Bachauer International Artists Piano Competition” in Salt Lake City. His award-winning recordings have been released by renowned labels. Since 2012, he has been a professor of piano at the Haute École de Musique de Genève. Further information about the program can be found here.
Continuing the tradition of the legendary Chopin concerts in Łazienki Park, the free concert will take place at 5:00 p.m. outdoors in the Colonnade Courtyard. As with the famous Sunday concerts in Warsaw’s park, the focus here is on the connection between music, nature, and public space, creating a special setting for experiencing the works of Frédéric Chopin.
Before the concert, visitors can take part in a free special guided tour of the InterNationalgalerie in the Alte Nationalgalerie. Further information can be found here.Translated with DeepL
