Once around the world

The choir of the Komische Oper Berlin presents an international programme with music from all over the world—and from their own home countries. The evening brings together both new discoveries and popular favourites, from Korea to Venezuela and from Poland to Wales. The programme is as diverse as the choir itself, which has some sixty members and has helped shape the programming of the Komische Oper Berlin for almost eighty years. Whether performing a cappella or with orchestral accompaniment, the choir invites you to join them on a truly special journey.

What’s more: during both intervals there will also be a chance to sample the cuisines of the countries featured in the programme.

Artists/Collaborators: David Cavelius (Klavier)
