Altın Gün

With hypnotic grooves, soaring synths, and Anatolian folk music, Altın Gün creates a sound that seems to come from another galaxy. The Grammy-nominated band from the Netherlands blends Turkish folk music and Anatolian rock with psychedelic funk, cosmic reggae, and space rock into an intoxicating live experience. In a trance-like state of suspension, a community emerges, somewhere between Amsterdam, Istanbul, and Berlin—united by the music and the traditional Anatolian lyrics of longing, love, nature, and the great questions of life.
