The new knockout running event, Pace Race, at Tempelhofer Feld encourages runners to improve their performance with every kilometer they run.
At the Pace Race Berlin, you run as many 1,000-meter laps as possible, with each lap having a stricter time limit (cut-off). This limit gets shorter with each lap. There is exactly 60 seconds of rest time between laps. If you don't complete a lap within the time limit, you move from the running track directly to the Finisher Cheer Zone. There, you cheer on the remaining runners to reach the next level. All participants spend about three hours on site—running or cheering. In the Pace Race, everyone is a winner as soon as the first lap is completed within the time limit. You will receive a digital certificate to download. The running event can also be contested with your own team.
