As part of the Christmas market in front of Berlin City Hall, an outdoor ice rink opens every winter.

The circular ice rink around Berlin's Neptune Fountain (Neptunbrunnen) offers ice skating against the festive backdrop of the popular Christmas market at Berlin City Hall. It is located directly in front of the Red City Hall on the western side of Alexanderplatz and invites visitors to skate on about 600 square meters of ice. Afterwards, you can warm up again in one of the heated mulled wine taverns around the ice rink.
