Ferry Tegelort — Saatwinkel

From Tegelort, the passenger ferry goes to the islands of Valentinswerder and Maienwerder in the middle of Lake Tegel and to the Saatwinkel district on Jungfernheide. The ferry also stops at the Hakenfelde pier in Spandau.

The islands of Valentinswerder and Maienwerder in Lake Tegel are both inhabited. Valentinswerder is 95 percent privately owned and features residential buildings as well as vacation and weekend houses. The ferry terminal is located on the west side of the island. On the island Maienwerder, there is a large allotment garden colony. Even if you don't want to go to the islands, the ferry ride across Tegeler See and Havel is a worthwhile excursion for the views.
