Polar bear cub "Hertha" at Tierpark Berlin
Polar bear Tonja at Tierpark Berlin gave birth to a cub on 01 December 2018. After weeks of waiting, the polar bear baby turned out to be a girl. On 2 April 2019 she was christened "Hertha".

On 15 March 2019 the still nameless polar bear girl was allowed to enter the outdoor enclosure for the first time and had great fun exploring the rocky landscape.
