The Comenius Garten in Rixdorf in Berlin-Neukölln can confidently be described as an oasis in the big city.

Rixdorf is like a small village in the middle of Berlin-Neukölln. The Comenius Garden is located in the middle of this district. This idyllic public garden was named after the philosopher and educator Johann Amos Comenius. Inspired by his works written in the 17th century, in which he advocated reform in education, an inspiring garden tour was created.

Learning space and meeting place

The multi-stage life path of a person is traced here, with different plants representing certain stages of life. Visitors to the park and gardens will find a large variety of different plants, trees and wildflowers as well as a pond. The garden is used by daycare centers, schools and other institutions as a place of learning and education and is also a popular meeting place for the neighborhood.
