Kienbergpark in Berlin-Marzahn was created in 2017 as part of the International Garden Exhibition. Attractions include the cable car, the summer toboggan run and the Wolkenhain.
Kienbergpark is located on the eponymous Kienberg, a 110-meter-high artificial hill. At the top of the hill is the Wolkenhain, a 30-meter-high viewing platform in the shape of a floating cloud. From the Wolkenhain, there is a panoramic view of Berlin's city center and the Brandenburg countryside. The Wolkenhain can be reached by cable car or on foot. The Gardens of the World begin on the western side of the Kienberg.
The Kienberg terraces and the Kienberg promenade are located on the southern slopes of the Kienberg. You can stroll along orchards, natural stone walls and open meadows and enjoy the sun. From a height of 30 meters, the Kienberg is covered with forest.
The Kienbergpark is traversed by the Wuhletal valley and the Alte Wuhle river. A 300-meter-long bridge, the Wuhlesteg, crosses the valley in the park from west to east. This area of the park features shallow water zones and wetland biotopes that are home to a diverse range of flora and fauna.
