Corona numbers stagnate in Berlin

For a few days now, the Berlin corona incidence has remained just below 300. The Berlin values still stay beneath the national average.

On Friday, the incidence in Berlin was 293.4 and thus hardly changed compared to the previous days. A week earlier, however, the value was still above the 300 mark. The hospitalisation rate and occupancy rate of intensive care beds by Covid 19 patients also stagnated in Berlin. The nationwide incidence on Friday was 345.9.

2090 new infections registered

With a value of 171.4, the district of Neukölln presently has the lowest incidence rate in Berlin. The highest value currently lies in the district of Lichtenberg with 592.5. 2090 new infections and 8 further deaths in connection with the coronavirus were reported throughout Berlin within one day.
