The Coronavirus incidence as well as the hospitalization rates and utilization of intensive care beds with Covid-19 patients have continued to decrease.
The Berlin incidence was at 338 on Thursday. 2908 new infections were reported within one day, according to the situation report of the Berlin Senate. This brought the total number of Corona infections in Berlin since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,191,623. Furthermore, three deaths were reported. Since only PCR tests are included in the statistics, experts continue to assume a high number of unreported cases.
5.4 percent of Berlin's intensive care beds are currently occupied by Covid-19 patients. This means that the value is only just within the yellow range of the corresponding Corona traffic light. Within the last seven days, 16.3 people with a Covid19 infection were hospitalized per 100,000 inhabitants. The hospitalization rate thus also fell slightly.
