Temperatures will rise to between 33 and 36 degrees on Thursday, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). An official heat warning is in place for Berlin and Brandenburg from Wednesday morning until Friday evening.
On Thursday, only a few hazy clouds will cover the sun. It will remain dry. A light breeze will cool things down a little. During the night on Friday, temperatures will drop to 16 degrees.
According to the DWD, temperatures of up to 37 degrees are expected on Friday. There will be localised showers and thunderstorms during the course of the day, which will cool the air. On Saturday, people in Berlin and Brandenburg can expect lower, but still midsummer-like temperatures of 25 to 28 degrees. The sun will only occasionally peek out from behind dense cloud cover.
