The date for the next election to the Berlin state parliament has been set. Elections to the district parliaments will be held on the same day next year.
The date was set by the Senate at its most recent meeting, as announced by the Senate Chancellery.
The Senate has also determined the distribution of constituencies for the election to the House of Representatives. All constituencies should have roughly the same number of eligible voters. There are a total of 78 across Berlin, and the district of Treptow-Köpenick will have an additional constituency compared to the 2021 election to the House of Representatives or its repetition in 2023. Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg has one less.
