Colorful and Diverse: Berlin’s “Pride Month” Kicks Off

It can get uncomfortable in Berlin and Brandenburg today. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), thunderstorms are possible from midday.
The DWD is warning of severe thunderstorms from midday until 2:30 p.m. Gusts of up to 70 km/h, heavy rain and hail are expected.
Between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., there is an increased risk of lightning strikes and flying and falling objects. Drivers should drive carefully due to the potential for aquaplaning and avoid flooded sections. According to the DWD, further thunderstorms may occur until around 4 p.m.
Temperatures will reach between 18 and 20 degrees. According to the forecast, the stormy weather will subside during the night. On Thursday, the weather will be friendlier again - even a few rays of sunshine are possible at midday. Temperatures will reach highs of up to 20 degrees.
