Carers and relatives can now take advantage of a new support service: The Digitaler Lotse (digital guide) makes it easier to find suitable contact points.
The Digitaler Lotse takes into account the diverse life situations of family caregivers and lists the relevant help and support services.
Dr. Ina Czyborra, Senator for Science, Health and Care, emphasized the important contribution made by family caregivers: "Berlin offers a wide range of targeted services and helpful contact points to support them. That is why it is also important to make the Berlin support system for caregiving relatives even better known." The digital guide shows who can help in the areas of information and advice. It also offers support for relief, self-help, digital technology or end-of-life situations. Around 236,000 people in Berlin currently care for their relatives.
