Air-Drop Bomb in Neukölln: Closure Planned

The Belgian royal couple were welcomed by Berlin's Governing Mayor Kai Wegner at the start of their state visit.
A few onlookers came to the Brandenburg Gate on Tuesday afternoon to greet King Philippe and Queen Mathilde with Belgian flags. The 63-year-old king was dressed in black, his wife in dark green. Together with Wegner, the state guests walked through the Brandenburg Gate. Afterwards, the royal couple wanted to sign Berlin's Golden Book in the Rotes Rathaus.
Afterwards, a wreath-laying ceremony was planned at the Neue Wache, Germany's central memorial to the victims of war and tyranny. Prior to this, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier had received the monarch and his wife with military honors at Bellevue Palace. Philippe and Mathilde are in Germany for their state visit until Thursday.
