After the heavy thunderstorm in Berlin on Tuesday night, the S-Bahn line 85 is temporarily not running after a lightning strike.
There are delays and cancellations on the S8 and S9 lines, as the S-Bahn announced on its website on Tuesday morning. Impacts were reported between Baumschulenweg and Treptower Park. Also affected by the storm are the S1 and S26 lines (signal malfunction in Wittenau) and the S47. There, train traffic is interrupted between Spindlersfeld and Schöneweide due to a fallen tree.
