Berlin police are asking for help in finding a missing 31-year-old mother and her nine-month-old baby.
The woman had left a mother-child facility in Heiligensee with the child early Thursday morning, police said Friday. The mother is considered to have behavioral problems and is said to suffer from delusions. She did not have a stroller, daily necessities or food for the baby with her. According to the report, the woman is about 1.64 meters tall, has shoulder-length hair dyed blond and speaks German and Russian. The little boy has light, thin hair.
Witnesses are asked to contact the State Criminal Police Office's Missing Persons Unit at Keithstraße 30 in Berlin-Tiergarten by calling (030) 4664-912444 or by emailing LKA124Hinweise@polizei.berlin.de. In addition, tips can be reported to any other police station or the Internet Watch.
