Due to a controlled detonation at the Grunewald blasting site in Zehlendorf, people will have to prepare for road closures from 10.15 am on Tuesday.
According to information from the police on Sunday, the Avus (A115) between the Hüttenweg and Spanische Allee junctions and the Kronprinzessinnenweg between Havelchaussee and Waldparkplatz Großer Stern in Grunewald will be affected. According to police, the sections should be free again after a maximum of one hour. The blast site in Grunewald is the location of unexploded bombs, grenades and ammunition from the Second World War, as well as illegal fireworks.
