Freibadbesuch

Summer temperatures are still a long time coming, but the first outdoor swimming pools are starting their season this weekend.

The summer pool at the Olympic Stadium opens on Saturday and the Sommerbad Kreuzberg on Sunday. The pools Am Insulaner and in Neukölln as well as various lidos open on May 1. The Wannsee lido has already been open since Good Friday.

Last outdoor pools open mid-June

Other pools will open in the coming weeks. Bathers will have to wait the longest in Wilmersdorf and Mariendorf, where the pools will not open until June 17 and 18. According to the operators, the organization of admission to the pools will be improved. Bathers with permanent and multiple passes as well as online passes will be able to enter the pools directly at express entrances.
