Airport BER: Warning strike on Monday

The trade union Verdi has called for a warning strike at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport on Monday.

The strike of workers in the aviation security area, passenger control and personnel and goods control will start at 3.30 a.m. and end at midnight, Verdi announced on Saturday morning. Due to the strike, no passenger flights will be able to take off from Berlin-Brandenburg Airport on Monday. Arrivals could also be affected, to be decided by the respective airline, an airport spokesperson told the Deutsche Presse-Agentur on Saturday.
