Campaign relaunch: Senate advertises Berlin's "Places of the Future"

Freie Universität Berlin

Campus Dahlem

A Senate advertising campaign launched in 2022 for the city's so-called places of the future is entering a new stage.

Until April 16, new motifs will be displayed on billboards and advertising columns to draw attention to two of these particularly innovative and forward-looking places. One is the Dahlem campus, one of the largest science locations in Germany where researchers are developing new solutions for children's health, among other things. The second is the Schöneweide site, where the University of Applied Sciences and companies are researching the city of the future and developing ideas for mobility, for example.

Eleven official "Places of the Future" in Berlin

There are a total of eleven official "Places of the Future" (Zukunftsorte) in Berlin. According to the Senate, the aim of the "Zukunft ist, wenn ..." (Future is when ...) campaign is to make these and the associated locational advantages of Berlin more visible and better known.
