Administration calls for watering street trees
Street trees suffer particularly during dry and hot spells in the summer. The Senate Department for the Environment is therefore appealing to Berliners. more
During a special session, the Senate decided at to extend the ticket campaign for another month. This was announced by the Senate Chancellery on Friday. From May 1, a nationwide local transport ticket for 49 euros is supposed to be introduced. If possible, there will continue to be a cheaper social ticket in Berlin. The so-called Berlin-Ticket S is valid in the AB fare zone and costs 9 euros a month. It is intended to enable people on low incomes to use public transportation.
