Berlin social ticket for public transport valid until the end of April

The 9-euro social ticket for public transport in Berlin is available until at least the end of April.

During a special session, the Senate decided at to extend the ticket campaign for another month. This was announced by the Senate Chancellery on Friday. From May 1, a nationwide local transport ticket for 49 euros is supposed to be introduced. If possible, there will continue to be a cheaper social ticket in Berlin. The so-called Berlin-Ticket S is valid in the AB fare zone and costs 9 euros a month. It is intended to enable people on low incomes to use public transportation.
