Corona: Quarantine obligation ends on February 13

Corona-Schnelltests

From mid-February onwards, Berliners with a Corona infection no longer have to remain in isolation for five days.

According to the health administration, the Senate decided on Tuesday to let the Corona Ordinance, which regulates this, expire on 13 February.

Lifting of compulsory seclusion coordinated with Brandenburg

Health Senator Ulrike Gote (Greens) had already announced the step a few days ago. She appealed to people to isolate themselves on their own responsibility in case of infection. The lifting of the isolation requirement has been coordinated with Brandenburg. In several federal states it had already been abolished in November, among others in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia, people infected with Corona no longer have to isolate themselves since the beginning of the month.
