Grenade at Nordbahnhof: Interruption of S-Bahn lines and road closures

Due to a World War II grenade near Berlin's Nordbahnhof station, there have been interruptions to S-Bahn services. In addition, roads were closed on Friday morning.

The S-Bahn lines S1, S2, S25 and S26 did not run between Gesundbrunnen and Nordbahnhof, it was reported. According to police, the grenade was found in a cemetery at Nordbahnhof. Whether people have to leave their homes, was initially not yet determined.
