Restrictions on four S-Bahn lines due to broken rails

Due to a rail break at Anhalter Bahnhof, passengers of the Berlin S-Bahn have to expect restrictions on Wednesday (April 13, 2022).

The lines S1, S2, S25 and S26 are affected, S-Bahn Berlin GmbH announced this morning. The S1 runs between Wannsee and Anhalter Bahnhof as well as between Potsdamer Platz and Frohnau/Oranienburg. Passengers on the S2 can travel between Priesterweg and Yorckstrasse/Potsdamer Platz and between Nordbahnhof and Buch/Bernau. The S25 and S26 lines run between Teltow Stadt and Südkreuz, and the S25 also between Potsdamer Platz and Hennigsdorf.
