Antenna mast falls on Ringbahn: S-Bahn service interrupted

A 15-meter antenna mast fell onto the Ringbahn in Berlin during a storm on Thursday (Feb. 17).

Tempelhofer Damm closed off

The fire department deployed a crane to clear the track. The S-Bahn traffic on the Ringbahn line was interrupted between Hermannstraße and Südkreuz. Tempelhofer Damm was also closed off, as was the junction of the A100 city highway. The BVG bus lines 140 and 184 were also affected. A traffic jam formed on Tempelhofer Damm.
