Starting this evening, passengers should expect service disruptions on the western section of Berlin's Ringbahn.
From 10 p.m. (Wednesday, September 30, 2026) until Monday (1:30 a.m.), there will be no trains running between Beusselstraße and Halensee, according to the Berlin S-Bahn. This affects the Ringbahn lines as well as the S46 between Königs Wusterhausen and Westend.
Passengers are advised to use the replacement bus service on this section. However, according to the S-Bahn, the buses do not stop at Westkreuz. Anyone wishing to transfer from the Ringbahn to the S3, S5, S7 or S9 lines should therefore transfer at Charlottenburg (Kaiser-Friedrich-Straße/Kantstraße bus stop). According to the S-Bahn, there will also be changes to the schedule between Wednesday evening and Monday morning. As a result, the Ringbahn trains between Beusselstraße and Wedding, as well as between Bundesplatz and Halensee, will run only every 10 minutes. During this period, the S15 will run between Berlin Hauptbahnhof and Gesundbrunnen only every 20 minutes.
