The days are getting warmer, spring is almost here – and Berlin's swimming pools are looking for lifeguards and pool attendants for the outdoor swimming season.
"Fancy a summer job with responsibility?" ask Berlin's public swimming pools on Facebook. "Don't just want to stand at the side of the pool in 2026, but really make a difference?"
In March, application days for lifeguards will be offered at various swimming pools in Berlin. The prerequisite for the job is a silver lifeguard badge that is no more than two years old. The swimming pool operators offer training and testing for this in a straightforward and free of charge manner: "Come by, introduce yourself, get started." The swimming pools are also looking for trainees for the regular apprenticeship programme to become a specialist employee for swimming pool operations.
