Sixt share offers a wide range of different cars for rent in the Berlin metropolitan area.

Sixt Carsharing is active in several different countries. In Berlin, the company rents out cars of various sizes and models.

Vehicles and Equipment

Sixt Share offers a wide array of vehicles for various needs in the Berlin metropolitan area, ranging from the Mini Convertible to the BMW 1 Series and the Skoda Superb. One third of the vehicle fleet consists of electric cars. Vans can also be rented.

Registration and Validation

Before a vehicle from the Sixt fleet can be rented, users must download the provider's free app and register there. After providing a valid driver's license and payment information, vehicles can be rented. The minimum age for renting a car is 21. For select categories of vehicles, a minimum age of 25 applies.

Rental Process and Pricing

Available vehicles in the vicinity can be located via the app. Once a suitable car has been found, you can reserve it for 15 minutes free of charge. A fee is charged for longer reservations. As soon as the car is opened, the rental period begins. The maximum rental period is 27 days. The rental fee depends on the car model, rental period and place of rental. Users can choose between different pricing packages. Drivers under 23 have to pay a young driver surcharge. At the end of the trip, the vehicles can be parked anywhere in the business territory, and the rental process can be ended via the app. Parking outside the business area is possible, but is subject to an additional fee.
